The Washington Redskins host the Philadelphia Eagles this week; check out the iSportsWeb fantasy advice for all things HTTR.
Who to start
No one. The Redskins offense has struggled with consistency this season, and against this stellar Philadelphia defense, no one really merits a start. Kirk Cousins is still a borderline QB1 this week,

but if you have a more favorable backup quarterback matchup on your bench, that would be the better way to go.
Who to sit
DeSean Jackson, WR
Jackson started off well this year, totaling 14 catches for 238 yards and a touchdown in his first three weeks. But since then, he has only grabbed four balls for 40 yards, and against this stingy Eagles pass D (second in the NFL in pass yards allowed), D-Jax should remain on your bench.
Matt Jones, RB
The Eagles rush defense is just as good as their pass defense, severely limiting Jones upside this week. After showing promise through the first three weeks, and then breaking out in week 4 against Cleveland, Jones took a step back against Baltimore last Sunday, as both his number of carries and totals yards took a significant hit. Through five weeks, I think we finally can tell what type of fantasy player Jones is going forward: an RB2 in favorable matchups, and a bench piece in tougher plays. Plan accordingly.
Injury updates
Jordan Reed, TE
Reed is listed as questionable with a concussion, but it does not appear as if he will play this Sunday. This is Reed’s fifth recorded concussion between his college and pro career, so it’s possible he could be held out even longer than one week, which affects the fantasy value of everyone else on offense.
Under-the-radar options
Vernon Davis, TE
The quality tight end free agent pickups are few and far between, so why not stay within the Redskins roster if you’re looking for someone to fill Reed’s stead. Davis has played at least 33 offensive snaps in each of the last three weeks, so he was already receiving consistent playing time with Reed on the field. If (when) Reed is unavailable, Davis is likely to see almost all of the tight end snaps, which has always been a favorite target of Cousins’.
