The Washington Redskins are traveling to London to take on the Cincinnati Bengals this week; check out the iSportsWeb fantasy advice for all things HTTR.
Who to start
Cincinnati has not exactly impressed this season. Their three wins have come against some of the worst teams in the league (New York Jets, Miami, Cleveland), while their four losses came against four of the best (Pittsburgh, Denver, Dallas, New England). This is their first matchup against a team of similar quality, so it is hard to know how good they really are.
Kirk Cousins, QB
Cousins is yet to explode this season. He has had several chances to put up a monster fantasy day, but his performances have merely hung around solid. But even if Cousins doesn’t ever turn into a top five fantasy quarterback, he should still be a backend QB1. The Bengals have a middling passing defense; opponents have scored 14 touchdowns through the air, good for 27th in the league. Cousins remains a respectable start in almost all leagues.

Who to sit
Matt Jones, RB
Jones is battling injury, a crowded backfield, and fumbling issues. Jones is yet to practice this week while he deals with a knee injury, but of perhaps more concern are the fumbles and his place in the backfield. Jones was the lead dog for the first seven weeks, but now his fumble issues are rearing their ugly head again. If healthy, he might still receive the majority of the carries, but it is far from a sure thing. Stay away from Jones until his stock bounces back.
Injury updates
Jordan Reed, TE
After missing the last two games, Reed says he feels back to normal this week. He has been limited in practice thus far, but there is still a good chance he plays Sunday barring a setback. It’s impossible to know how many snaps he will get even if he does return, so you might want to keep Reed on the bench, as long as you have the necessary tight end depth.
DeSean Jackson, WR
Jackson has been limited in practice this week with a hamstring issue, which is the fourth different injury Jackson has struggled with (he has also dealt with a sore knee, ankle, and shoulder). Jackson is still expected to play Sunday, but he and Cousins have not been on the same page all year; D-Jax has totaled just 11 points in his last four weeks combined (standard ESPN scoring). Jackson is not a viable starting option right now.
Under-the-radar options
Chris Thompson, RB
With Jones’ playing time questionable, Thompson appears to be in line for more snaps. He recorded a season-high 19 touches last week, and even if Jones does play Sunday, Thompson’s ability to catch balls out of the backfield gives him more upside, especially in PPR leagues.
