The Washington Redskins are hosting the Minnesota Vikings this week; check out the iSportsWeb fantasy advice for all things HTTR.
Who to start
Even accounting for their recent skid, the Vikings’ defense still ranks as the best in football. They are first in points allowed (15.8), third in takeaways (17), fourth in passing yards per game (206), and eighth in rushing yards per game (93.1). With stars scattered all over the field for Minnesota, including Harrison Smith, Anthony Barr, and Xavier Rhodes, Sunday figures to be tough sledding for the ‘Skins offense.
Dustin Hopkins, K
Washington is averaging the fourth-most yards per game this season, and should still be able to move the ball effectively enough between the twenties against Minnesota. But Kirk Cousins and company have struggled all season at punching the ball into the end zone, which seems likely to continue against the vaunted Vikings D. Hopkins has had two weeks to move past his gaffe in London, and will get plenty of chances to redeem himself.

Jordan Reed, TE
Plug and play, people, plug and play. Even against this defense, Reed is a worthwhile start every week.
Who to sit
Kirk Cousins, QB
Cousins is coming off a monster yardage performance, but this week does not appear to be a favorable matchup. The Vikings secondary is loaded, and even with the Redskins talented receiver group, Cousins will have a tough time accumulating enough yards and touchdowns to merit the start.
Injury updates
DeSean Jackson, WR
Jackson is doubtful for Sunday with a shoulder injury, according to head coach Jay Gruden. Apparently, he is struggling with range of motion in his left shoulder. D-Jax has been hampered by an array of injuries all season, but he is yet to miss any time. A week off following the bye could be enough to get him closer to full health heading into the home stretch.
Under-the-radar options
Rob Kelley, RB
Fat Rob seems to have seized the starting role following his solid performance against a tough Bengals run defense. Minnesota is surrendering an average of 118 yards per game on the ground over their last three games, and Kelley is getting plenty of opportunities (21 carries against Cincinnati). Kelley is at least a viable flex option this week.
